Health, Family, Medical Assurance Comes First When Your Away From Home

Medical assistance is available in Playa Del Carmen for any hospital emergency or illness. Excellent doctors and 24 hour emergency facilities. They will work with the top international health insurance companies, so bring down your health insurance card(s).
Always bring a can of Insect Repellent if you are vulnerable and sensitive to mosquito bites. I say this for those that plan on adventuring on site-seeing tours and nature walks. Bug spray and cremes are available but expensive.
As a courtesy to my guests, we only publish emergency information and phone numbers upon guest arrival. For Medical Assistance during your stay, please view the first opening pages of the guestbook available inside the condo.
I have provided amble amount of information on Medical Emergency Numbers, US and International Consulates, Doctors and Hospital Phone Numbers. Take your health insurance card with you on your trip as the hospital in Playa takes most major insurances.
If you feel you may have digestive issues while on vacation...
I strongly recommend you go to your local health food store and purchase yourself a bottle of PB8 digestive enzyme capsules to take with you. I use it all the time and even at home here in the States. This product is safe to use for both adults and children. It is taken at the beginning of each meal.As a reminder while on vacation, look up once in a while at the palm and cocunut trees. Just don't shake the coconut trees or you'll end up in the hospital from a concussion :)
